Meeting called to order at 6:11 pm.

12 Members and 1 guest present.

Secretary report was read. Motion and second to accept. Motion passed.

Treasurer report; Jrs. - $995.67, FMO - $1710.82, CBC - $3525.87. Motion and second to accept. Motion passed.

Tournament Director; Horsetooth is operating under winter hours. Only time to get a boat inspection is on Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 – 9:00 and 12:00 – 1:00.

Conservation; NTR

Old Business;

 Amendment to by-laws; Raising the limit to $175 without having board approval passed. Mike will get that change to Frank so it can be updated.

General outline of Finance Committee: Finance Committee will consist of no more than 3 members, a Chairman elect, current Treasurer of the Club and one other Club member. The current President may attend any of the committee meetings. The Chairman will preside over these meetings. The committee will review all requests for expenditures over $175. Committee will review and bring back recommendations to the Club so that the Club may vote on such matters. The committee will only be an advisory status committee. The committee will meet under the discretion of the Chairman. The committee will also conduct an audit of the Club finances at least twice in a calendar year.

Motion and second to enact a Finance Committee under the guidelines that were presented by Bill Wilson. Motion passed. Bill will get a copy to Mike so that the By-laws can be amended.

Trout award nominations – Bill Ross. No other nominations at this time. Nominations will remain open until next meeting.

Christmas Party – December 18th 7:00 pm at Frank Villas house.

Membership renewal for 2011 – Need at least 6 members renewed before end of year to stay in good standings as a Club.

FMO – Possibly assign Jr. Club members to specific tasks. Trailer to store equipment overnight.  Possibly obtain the campsites at the south end of the loop. Using the new shelter by the swim beach for weigh in. Not having a youth raffle instead donating more of the proceeds to the Jr. Club for helping out. Paying to help with expenses for the pontoon boat. Covering the reservation fee for the campsites.

Still waiting to hear back from Chad on the DVD purchases.

CAST – Bagging for tips December 18-19. Email Bill if you can help. CAST will be June 4th 2011.

Jr. Club – Possible meeting in December. Local Boy Scout troop will be collecting donations of outdoor gear for the homeless starting Nov. 20th at JAX.

Website-Tournament sign up worked well. Make sure to check witch date you are signing up for and to use the comment field, example if you are a Boater needing a partner.

Frank and Mike will update the member page with links for Vendor discounts.

Federation – 3rd quarter meeting was cancelled.  Still need to vote on lakes for 2011 STQT. Clubs sent in top 3 choices. Based on the reply, top 3 were Grand lake, Truman lake and Falcon. Falcon will not be considered as a choice. A lodge located on Truman has contacted Mike and has offered up $1000 as prize money and also a dinner one evening if we would use their facility. Taking this into consideration CBC vote will be – 1st Truman, second Grand Lake.

4th quarter BOD, Saturday Nov. 13th 1:00 pm. We are hosting. Bill will try to arrange to get the back room at Pappies. Mike, Bill, Frank and Chad will represent CBC.

Habitat – Motion to spend up to $300 of Conservation money for needed supplies for the project to benefit local fish habitat. Second. Motion passed. November 20th will start with lunch at George’s house. Meet at 10:00 am.

New Business:

Steering Committee will meet before the December Business meeting. Possibly Nov. 9th. Mike will email with details.

Nominations for Officers – Vice President; Perry Flot. Tournament Director; Greg Gillen. Secretary; Brian Spencer, Chad Brekke. Activities Director; Craig McMillin. Treasurer; Brett Vogel. Brian Spencer officially withdrew his name from the nomination for Secretary. Nominations will remain open until the December meeting at witch time voting will take place.

Motion and second to order and pay for trophies for the 2010 ending results. Motion passed. Bill Wilson and Robert Ross will do the ordering from Dyekman Trophies.

ESPN has sold BASS to a group of investors.
