Old Business
Frank is working on the sign up sheet for weekend tournaments and will have it on the website soon. Norton will be used as a test for it.
Member packets – Bill Wilson promises to have copies made by the October meeting.
The hook cutters are in and will be sold at cost, approximately $25.00
Finance committee - Bill Wilson has a rough draft started for the amendment to the by-laws, he will email this out to the Club for review before next meeting. Some suggestions that might be included, raise the minimum amount that needs to be approved to $175.00. The Treasurer should be a member of this committee but not the chairman. Should consist of an odd number of bodies. Chairman should be elected and other two members appointed by the Board. Further discussion was tabled until the October meeting.
FMO – Donations were $2400. Expenses were $1689.61. Profit was $2665.39, which will be disbursed as $888 each to Charities, Conservation and Weekend tournaments. There will be a meeting for the 2011 FMO at 5:00 pm October 5th, before the regular Club meeting.
FMO DVD’s – Mike has a list of those interested in buying. He will leave it open until October and will also email a second request for purchase.
SOP for FMO will be discussed at the next meeting.
Jr. Club – At this time they are still in need of two boats to cover the number of kids our club is sending to the State Championship tournament at Pueblo on September 11th. Please let Frank know if you can help with this. Dyekman Trophy’s is doing the awards and T- shirts for the event. The start time has been changed to 6:00 am.
Website – Everything has been updated to this point.
Federation – 3rd Qtr. Meeting was cancelled. There will possibly be a special meeting held on October 9th to make this up.
New Business
Nominations for 2011 officers will be open in October and November with elections taking place at the December meeting.
It was asked that we get as many members signed up for 2011 Club membership as possible starting in November.
Nominations for the Trout Award will be taken at the next few meetings. Bill Ross was nominated for doing the head first trip out of the boat.
Jerry Smith/Sportsmanship Award. It was suggested that this award might not be given out every year and that before it is considered maybe the nomination should go through a review by the board. If you do have someone in mind to nominate, email the name and reason for the nomination to the Club President.
Christmas Party – Frank volunteered his house. Date is pending but possibly the 11th of December.
October 5th will be a meeting night only, no mini tournament. Year-end standings for 2010 will be based on the best 5 out of 9 minis.
