Several suggestions were made as to what to do. A sign up sheet was passed around to get volunteers to sign up for either a Casting Kids event of just a seminar on bass fishing or both. Bill Wilson suggested getting in touch with the Longmont Bass Club to see if they would like to participate. Mike Hubbard will follow up. He will also order material from BASS for the event.

Jr. Bassmasters: Mike Hubbard reported that since CBC's last meeting, there has been some interested expressed in forming a Jr. Bassmasters Club. VP Villa reported that he is aware of several interested individuals. Mike suggested setting up an informal meeting between CBC and potential Jr. Bassmaster members. Some discussion followed. VP Villa passed around a sheet for volunteers to sign.

Website: VP Villa reported that the club's website has been updated.

Reformat the boater/non-boater point accrual system: There has been a suggestion at the Sept. CBC meeting that CBC may want to consider adopting the same policy that ESPN uses for the boater/non-boater points policy and that is that the boater/non-boater would have separate pots to contribute to and that the non-boater could use the points from the boater, up to 3 fish, providing the non-boater catches at least 1 fish. Much discussion followed with more comments being in the negative. Since there were more negative aspects brought out, the subject was laid to rest.

Weigh in tournaments versus Card tournaments: There was much discussion on this subject. Since there is special equipment need for a weigh in tournament, it was suggested that the club have at least 1 weigh in tournament a year. A motion was made by Mike Hubbard to have at least 1 weekend weigh in tournament for 2007 and that it be an out of state tournament. Motion seconded-motion carried. The Steering Committee will follow up on what tournament will be selected for the weigh in.

Weekend Tournament Fees: A subject that generated much discussion. A motion was made to raise the weekend tournament fees from the present $50 to $60. Motion seconded and passed. Another motion was made to raise the mini-tournament fees from the present $10 to $15. It should also be noted that the present payout structure will NOT be changed. Motion seconded and passed.

CBF/BOD: CBC will host the BOD meeting on 18 Nov. at Sportsman's Warehouse. CBC needs 3 members to be present at this meeting. VP Villa suggested that the CBF website be watched. Further discussion on the subject was tabled until next month's meeting.

New Business: VP Villa reported that Windsor Lake is being drained and that this would be a good time for CBC to approach The Town of Windsor about a conservation project there. John Wilder and Blake Muhlenbruck will follow thru with The Town of Windsor. A suggestion was also made for CBC to check with Larimer Cty. to see about building structures at Carter lake and at Lone Tree Res. now that the water levels are down.
